Our supporters
We are grateful to the Haverfordwest Cricket Club for their continued support and the use of their clubhouse for some of our indoor activities such as Quiz nights, the AGM and Committee meetings.
We also acknowledge the generous donation from the Gild of Freemen of Haverfordwest (details here).
Historical Funding
For many years the Trust was given much needed financial support from Haverfordwest Town Council (HTC), Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC) and the Bridge Meadow Trust (BMT).
In recent years, growing financial pressures have meant the withdrawal of the assistance given by PCC and the BMT. Latterly the HTC raised its financial support, which offset this loss, but withdrew this grant in 2021.
Fundraising and charitable donations
Activities to support the Racecourse have included quiz nights, donations for new seats and extensive planting of trees. Our Secretary, Peter Lewis, also celebrated his 80th birthday with a sponsored walk from the Racecourse to Broad Haven.
Peoples Fundraising for Donations
In addition to our organised fundraising events, contributions will always be welcome via our donations page. We can also benefit from the Gift Aid scheme if taxpayers tick the appropriate box. Please support your local park.
